The mentorship program connects you with a real patient or caregiver who has experience with OSSIOfiber®. You’ll be able to ask questions, hear their story, and get support from someone who understands what you’re going through.

No. This program is completely free for patients and caregivers.

Mentors are volunteer patients who have personal experience with OSSIOfiber®. They’re not medical professionals, but they can share what their journey was like.

Simply sign up and fill out a short questionnaire. Based on your responses, we’ll match you with a mentor who has been through a similar experience and can offer support that feels personal and  relevant.

Once you’re matched, you’ll connect through the secure PatientPartner platform. You can chat privately with your mentor, ask questions at your own pace, and stay connected for as long as you’d like. At this time, communication is available through messaging only.

You can ask about their personal experience with OSSIOfiber®, what their treatment journey was like, how they felt when starting, and how they managed day-to-day life. Mentors can’t give medical advice, but they can share what helped them, what they wish they knew earlier, and how they made certain decisions. It’s a safe space to ask honest questions and hear real stories from someone who’s been there.

Mentors can’t give medical advice or make treatment recommendations. They can only share their personal experience. For medical questions, you should always consult your healthcare provider.

Your mentor will be notified as soon as you send a message. Since all mentors are volunteers, please allow up to 24 hours for them to respond.

Yes. Your conversation is completely one-on-one and confidential. Only you and your mentor can see your messages. The PatientPartner platform is secure and designed to protect your privacy every step of the way.
